Yelena started her petroleum engineering career in 2008 at Chesapeake energy after finishing her internship at Exxon Mobil in production and completion departments. She spent 6 years working in Haynesville Shale district at Chesapeake when the play was first discovered. She assisted in understanding the play and recommended best practices for the area including most economical spacing development patterns. Later she worked in mineral and non-op companies perfecting her A&D analysis to provide fast and accurate evaluations. Currently she owns her consulting company – Zeal Energy Consulting and working with various clients (small independent companies and government entities)
